March 15 - 21, Edmonton - Week 12

Hello from Edmonton (Again)

You know what I did to open this week?

went to the Jubilee Auditorium and watched Les Miserables.

It was soooo good.  The cast was amazing and our seats were in Row 5, which means you can see the facial expressions and the sweat and the small details that are often lost when sitting further away.

I also went for a few runs.  Trying to stick to a schedule, and track it on Strava because I just like the stats!! Also I haven't been wearing my watch every day so my step count is going to Plummet even more.

Went for some good old fashioned Canadian Chicken wings.
#wingwednesday.

Turns but that out of everywhere I have been, this is not as big of a deal as it is in Canada.  Some other countries do it, but not as good as Canada.   The flavour selection is unmatched.  So my Seeeester and I went for wings.    Then we walked past this bakery thing that was selling these "VIRAL" desserts and we decided to try one.

 This is the  mango one.

Its like chocolate shell, with cake and a jelly type stuff in the middle. and it was $17.50 CAD.

Was it good?   Yes.  But i think a more reasonable price would have been about $4.00.

so dont fall for the trend. or the influencers telling you its worth it.

In fact, anytime someone is telling your to do something.
ask yourself if they have something to gain.
Then make an educated decision for yourself.
